큰 슬픔이 거센 강물처럼

그대의 삶에 밀려와

마음의 평화를 산산조각 내고

가장 소중한 것들을 

그대의 눈에서 영원히 앗아갈 때면

그대 가슴에 대고 말하라

" 이것 또한 지나가리라 "

 

 

끝없이 힘든 일들이

그대의 감사의 노래를 멈추게 하고

기도하기에도 너무 지칠때면

이 진실의 말로 하여금

그대의 마음에서 슬픔을 사라지게 하고

힘겨운 하루의 무거운 짐을 벗어나게 하라
